A BER is a Building Energy Rating and is an objective scale of comparison for the energy performance of a building ranging from A1 to G. A-rated homes and commercial properties are the most energy efficient and G the least efficient. For anyone selling or leasing a new home from 1st July 2008, a Building Energy Rate (BER) certificate will be compulsory.

Our Building Energy Rate (BER) audits will be carried out by specially trained Building Energy Rate (BER) assessors, registered by Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). We also provide input to SEAI grant applications.

What We do

AMRA Engineering Consultants provides Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Design and Consulting services for commercial, industrial and residential developments throughout Ireland, with the ability to assist new building services design, retrofitting and building energy analysis.

We are primarily made up of senior consultants who have experience working with international consulting firms throughout Europe & North America. Our staff bring extensive knowledge to each project they work on and use this knowledge and experience to design your project without the requirement for safety design margins which make building devices installations costly to build, run and maintain.
