Daneswell Place located on the old print works site in Glasnevin, Dublin, is a large multi-unit residential development over car park by Eastwise Homes incorporating five blocks of apartments totalling 168 apartment units, and six blocks of 3 storey houses totalling 39 housing units.
This project is a high-end development which required the system to adapt to a premium specification and construction detail for the housing units. The 168 apartment units are laid out over five blocks including studio, 1bed, 2 bed & 3 bed units in blocks of up to 48No apartments rising approx. 6 storeys. Our design team in AMRA developed a full drawing and specification package for mechanical and electrical services on the project including full PV array, EV charger arrangements, dry riser detail, basement ventilation strategy, co-ordination of the sprinkler installation and tie-ins with civils sump pump and petrol interceptor requirements. The heating solutions proposed include mechanical exhaust air heat pumps supplying steel panel wall mounted radiators.
For the housing our design team in AMRA developed a full drawing and specification package for mechanical and electrical services on the project including full PV array for housing units as required to satisfy Part L requirements. The all-electric heating solutions proposed included electric radiators, mechanical heat recovery ventilation, exhaust air heat pumps.
