Adam Rogers
Managing Director
As a Chartered Engineer having completed both an engineering degree and a plumbing apprenticeship, Adam specialises in Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Controls Engineering and Energy Systems, and is acutely aware of the importance applying engineering design correctly in the construction industry. Adam understands the value of functional and practical design that drives residential and commercial installations to the best effect.
Bringing a large amount of local knowledge and international experience to each project, he enthusiastically leads in house design operations, executes expansion, and corporate strategy. Adding productivity and innovation to the design team as the company’s signing professional engineer, while also using his background as a mechanical contractor to conduct site inspection and assist the contractors on site as the project progresses through construction.
Rachel Frasca
Associate Director
Rachel is a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the design, construction supervision and coordination of Electrical Building Services. Rachel’s role consists of working as part of the internal and external design team to ensure project delivery.
During Rachels career she has been involved in the electrical design for a range of projects that have included office developments, education,
Healthcare, prisons, hotels. In addition to project design she is responsible for cost control, coordination, attending meetings, liaising with clients, contractors and the other design team members.
Edicson Sarmiento
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Edicson is a senior mechanical engineer (MSc.) who also has a bachelor’s degree in business management, with 14 years of experience in project engineering, maintenance, quality control, processes, and customer service.
He is involved in multidisciplinary projects where he accumulates his experience developing projects and coordinating engineering activities. That gives him the ability to provide professionalism, innovation, and continuous improvement on each project he works on.
Bringing to the company a global vision of the processes always oriented to high quality and efficiency and continually developing our Public Health Engineering & HVAC project design packages.
Maria Canuto
AutoCAD & BIM
Maria has specialised in software since entering the construction & consulting industry, particularly in the creation of 3D visualizations for services coordination.
She is proficient in AutoCAD, BIM System through Revit, as well as other software such as Lumion, SketchUp, V-ray, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Her goal is to find better ways to demonstrate M&E coordination requirements through visual presentations and to streamline the construction process through detailed accurate coordination drawings.
Ana Beber
AutoCAD & BIM
Ana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism. She has eight years of experience with AutoCAD and throughout these years has worked in different fields of architecture and services design, acquiring solid skills in the use of this software.
Ana has worked on various projects within architecture and engineering sectors. In these environments, she was responsible for the development of projects, including hydraulic engineering, electrical engineering, and fire prevention and emergency lighting design.
Additionally, Ana also actively participated in monitoring and managing construction projects, including attending project team meetings and carrying out detailed site inspection reports.
Grainne Reynolds
Business Development
Grainne has a Bsc in Economics and has been working in finance and economics sector for over 15 years. Degree qualified through Dublin Institute of Technology and with experience working in the construction sector is in Ireland as well as North America.
As a Business Development Manager, she can identify new business opportunities and develop existing relationships within the construction sector. Her experience and skills bring stable business platform to Balrath Engineering that helps drive our growth and adaptation to change in the industry.
Pauline Lucas
Accounts & Finance
Over thirty years of experience in Finance as office manager, credit controller, financial controller, and general manager. As a result of her experience, Pauline monitors all the financial aspects of Balrath, capable of guaranteeing financial stability through adequate and timely financial advice and regulations.
In addition, she has the ability to guide the members of the organization and enable them to work together and meet the financial objectives of the company.
James Rogers
Construction Manager
Field Construction Manager, over 40 years’ experience in overseeing multiple building projects. Through his time as a mechanical contractor, foreman and contracts manager with Leo Lynch, HA O Neill’s & Mercury Engineering, Jim has experience supervising and directing operations on a construction project to ensure that the project is completed safely on schedule within budget and to a high-quality standard.
Jim mainly focuses on public health engineering, pop up & builders works drawings, and how they are implemented in the field.
Driving accuracy and good practice on each project with an in-depth knowledge of mechanical services installation, pipework design, public health engineering & gas services installations.
Slaine Pratt
Mechanical Design
Slaine has been working as part of Balrath team for over four years working mainly in mechanical and electrical design for residential and commercial building projects. An engineering graduate from DIT Bolton Street Slaine has been running our AutoCAD & BIM department since 2019.
Slaine’s design experience include generating HVAC & plumbing schematics on large commercial projects, developing refrigeration and heating systems from first principles, creating, and compiling mechanical drawing schematics for large multi-unit residential projects. Slaine has excelled in her ability to apply this knowledge into drafting detailed drawing packages & generating complex BIM models for coordination of M&E services on all our projects.
